About us

We, Ingrid and Gert-Jan are a Dutch couple that fell in love with the beauty and friendliness of South Africa during our holidays. In 2016 we emigrated, to follow our biggest dream, living in this beautiful country and so far we are still incredibly happy to live here. After a year in Cape Town we moved to Stellenbosch where we had a small and cosy B&B. With our rescue dogs Basil and Skye we had so much fun with all the local and international guests. We love sharing our enthusiasm about all the gems the Western Cape has to offer. Some guests appreciated the small tips about the mountain hikes, nature parks or wildlife. With other guests we had extended chats about food, wine, culture, arts, sports, road trips and our adventures. In 2020 we have decided to grow our business and we found the possibility to grow our B&B on a dream location in an environment where we have many good memories.
